At the beginning you mentioned that some students wanted to constantly "take you home" with them - I think that with this book you have achieved that goal. It is written in the same witty style you have. The anecdotes are great - they give the book flavor without being trivial. Usually I find that such instructional books are a snore, but I couldn't put yours down! I firmly believe that a writer who writes a screenplay and hopes to sell it in Hollywood (or anywhere else) without reading The Savvy Screenwriter will have a fate similar to the soldier who goes into battle without the benefit of Basic Training. The Savvy Screenwriter is, in my view, the ultimate Almanac of its kind in this field..
